Schneider's Bar 2

The crowd is a little older, but it is a pretty solid group of people. Great menu items. Big fan of the BLT & twice baked potato. Also have a really good baked sweet potato. Really cheap drink prices and great bar staff. The flat screen TVs make it a great place to watch sports and there is a pretty interesting cast of regular characters to keep you entertained. Pub style trivia on Wednesday nights are a blast, too.

We love going to Schneider’s Bar for pitchers of beer and great food. The place is stuck in a little, old unattractive strip mall right next to a Goodwill store. But, the food & service are always great & efficient. This place seems to attract an older crowd so if you’re looking for a hip bar to meet other hip young adults or listen to loud music and do Red Bull shots………this is NOT your place. But, if you’re in the mood for a casual, laid-back, neighborhood sports bar atmosphere then you may enjoy this place. We have just about gone through the entire menu and there is not one item that we haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. Our favorites would be the appetizer of fried chicken livers (you can’t find that on a menu very often), or the chili, their breaded tenderloin sandwich (huge!), the breaded fried walleye, their pizzas, and the bourbon marinated grilled sirloin steak – these are all wonderful and all of their food is reasonably priced. The place is all adult so there is smoking allowed. We don’t smoke but the cigarette smoke has never bothered us when we’re eating or drinking (must have a good ventilation system?)
